   Metal oxide arresters, commonly known as "zinc oxide arresters", are products of conventional arresters. After my country fully introduced this technology in the mid-1980s, through years of practice and digestion, the current performance of AC arresters of various professional arrester factories is not far behind that of the United States, Japan, Western Europe and other countries, and all products that really meet the requirements can also be used. Meets all the requirements of the IEC standard.

   The core working element of this product is fired with zinc oxide-based multi-relative oxide powder, which has excellent nonlinear shape-ampere characteristics, fast response to steep waves, and large flow capacity. Products with gaps use self-blowing gaps and a pressure-equalizing irradiation structure, which reduces the dispersion of discharge and has a small impact coefficient.

   The use of composite insulating jacket conforms to the trend of miniaturization, safety and maintenance-free development of power products. Compared with traditional inorganic materials such as ceramics and glass, polymer organic composite materials have the disadvantages of small size, light weight, pollution resistance, no cleaning, explosion-proof and anti-vibration. It is a lightning protection component in the integrated and modularized medium and high voltage power transmission and transformation equipment.


>Use and implementation standards

  This product is used in AC 220kV and below power generation, transmission, substation, and distribution systems. It is used to limit the amplitude of lightning and internal operating overvoltage to the specified level. It is the basic equipment for the insulation coordination of the entire system. At the same time, this product cannot be used to limit resonance overvoltage, and other methods are required for system resonance elimination.

The model of this product is compiled in accordance with the provisions of JB/T8459-1996 "Methods for Compiling Models of Arrester Products", and the products without gaps implement the standard of GB11032-2000 "AC Non-Gap Metal Oxide Arrester"; products with gaps implement JB/T9672--2005 "Without Gap" Series Gap Metal Oxide Arrester" standard. Important parameters and configuration methods not clearly defined in the above standards shall be revised and implemented according to the requirements of DL/T62 0-1997 "Overvoltage Protection and Insulation Coordination of AC Electrical Installations".
